另一方面，国际足联修改了脑震荡协议的标准，球员只有在医生认可的情况下才能重返赛场，裁判可以因为怀疑球员遭受脑震荡而最多暂停比赛3分钟，在队医允许后，裁判才会让球员回到球场上。
